The Frankfurt-based company DIC Asset AG has appointed Dr. Jürgen Schäfer,
MRICS, (45) to its Board of Directors as its new Chief Operating Officer
(COO) with effect from 1st October 2007. Schäfer therefore succeeds Jürgen
Overath, who is leaving the company for personal reasons to take on a new
professional challenge in the Rhineland again.

Jürgen Schäfer was most recently Partner and Head of Real Estate at the
renowned asset consulting firm Feri Wealth Management GmbH. As an
experienced and distinguished real estate manager, he will strengthen the
Board of Directors of DIC Asset AG with his many years of industry
expertise, which he has acquired in a number of responsible positions in
various real estate companies. He will focus on managing the strategically
important Asset und Property Management Division and steering the
activities of DIC ONSITE. DIC ONSITE is the central asset management entity
of DIC, and has the task of managing a diversified real estate portfolio
throughout Germany directly from the geographical centres. It is
responsible for around 340 properties with a total value of just under EUR
3 billion. These are managed from five well-established locations.
